The crop factor compared to full-frame is a 1.56x, in between full-frame and Micro Four Thirds cameras. That's Super 35 size, which is slightly smaller than the APS-C sensor on Canon's 7D II DSLR, but much larger than the sensor on the Pocket 4K. The sensor is also larger at 23.10 mm x 12.99 mm. Those are designed to be farther from the sensor than mirrorless lenses to account for mirror movement. The reason for the hump is that it now uses Canon EF DSLR glass, rather than Micro Four Thirds lenses like the BMPCC 4K. The Pocket 4K is my go to camera for studio productions, and shooting with my S16 lenses in 2.6K window. To me, both are great cameras, and the Z6 has some very nice lenses available for it. So it all depends on your workflow and final applications, which camera is better. With the Z6/7 using the next generation CFExpress card for internal recording (which is overkill for h.264 recording), perhaps a firmware update by Nikon might allow for 10-bit internal film log recording? But the Pocket can be remotely controlled and setup using a ATEM Mini, while the Z6 will need to be controlled from the camera. For streaming, the Z6 allows you to send a UHD stream, while the Pocket is limited to HD. If you want files for Cinema type productions, with editing and color grading in post, then the Pocket cameras, with 12-bit BRaw and 10-bit ProRes internal recording, beat the Z6/Atomos setup. Also, the Z6 max resolution is UHD, but for my applications, this is sufficient. I wished the Z6 could at least record 10-bit h.264 files internally. However, this limits me to h.264, 8-bit files only. I tend to use the Z6 without any add on equipment for hand held shooting, with the camera’s EVF. Adding an external recorder like the Ninja V or, in my case, a Pi圎5 with the Audio control added, makes a larger setup, that is not easy to hand hold even with the IBIS. Well, the Atomos/Nikon Z6 “Raw” is ProRes Raw, which can only be edited on FCPX, so your options are more limited.
